The Israel Karate Federation
The Israel Karate Federation is responsible for the promotion of karate in Israel and is the official body recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports and represents all the practices of karate in Israel.
Karate is not just a martial art, but a way of life. One of the goals of the federation is to bring the art of karate to every home in Israel and to create a better Israeli society.
There are many styles of karate, but they all have one thing in common. The federation is home to all active styles in Israel, regardless of religion or community, between sport karate or traditional karate, semi-contact or full contact. Everyone has a place in the federation.
The federation is a member of the world karate federation - WKF that is recognized by the Olympic Committee and the Non-Olympic Sports Committee and which are recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports in Israel.
The federation holds events suitable for the various styles of karate: Israeli national championships, European championships and world championships as well as various seminars, training courses and more.
Most karate clubs in Israel, from all over the country, are members of the Israel Karate Federation.
